“As the founder of Bizzmosis Business Services and Bizzmosis group of companies, aimed at supporting new businesses to register themselves, I work in tight collaboration with all government bodies and regulatory authorities to help the legal environment and regulations change and adapt to welcome disruptive innovation products or platforms. #TIPsummit2020

The biggest contribution we’ve had in over 9 years in UAE and GCC market is facilitating the communication between the law makers/ government and innovators and speeding up registration of licenses and patents or operation permits for innovators.

Coordination, long term sustainability and support for the initiatives and innovator participants to the initiatives is in direct correlation with the predictable success.

Competition is healthy and open market is a great catalyst of ideas and proposals, but without seeing through that promising innovation Cleantech project has had all needed support, infrastructure, funding and exposure to consumer’s market there are very small chances of conversion of the multitude of initiatives into successfully implemented products.”

• Is there place for moonshot innovations in the MENA Region?

“I personally find MENA region currently focused more on projects that have “ palpable results” either impact on the subject the project or palpable financial projections. I think the moonshot innovations are a must to be welcomed and sustained, as this is how bold, groundbreaking and world changing ideas come to life.
The moonshot projects need dedicated research and development centers as well as strong flow of funding by enterprises as well as government. Which currently are vital sources MENA region works exceptionally hard to develop but there is significant room for more initiative to be taken by private companies and individuals, especially by local entities to support Cleantech projects.”
