We are growing and looking for a Customs and Product Registration Specialist who will play a critical role in ensuring the seamless import, export, and registration of products in compliance with local and federal regulations. This position is responsible for managing and streamlining product registrations, customs registrations and clearance, trademark registrations, and Made in the Emirates registrations for clients.

The successful candidate will manage client requests from initiation to completion, ensuring accurate documentation, timely submissions, proactive communication, and collaboration with regulatory authorities to resolve any issues, streamline operations, and ensure client satisfaction. The main duties and responsibilities of this role are:

  • Answer client queries and provide practical advice on product compliance, ensuring projects are executed accurately and within agreed timelines.
  • Handle customs registration and clearance, product registration, Made in the Emirates registration, and trademark registration with the relevant authorities, ensuring all required documentation is complete and accurate.
  • Coordinate with regulatory bodies to ensure timely approvals and compliance with local and federal requirements.
  • Demonstrate comprehensive knowledge of UAE regulations and procedures relating to customs, product, Made in the Emirates, and trademark registrations.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, providing expert advice, regular updates, and resolving any issues related to their requests.
  • Maintain thorough and accurate records of all documentation, communications, and transactions related to client requests.
  • Stay updated on regulatory changes and industry best practices, ensuring all client services comply with applicable laws and regulations.
  • Maintain a general Licensing knowledge as per Company Commercial Law.
  • Adhere to established SOPs to maintain consistency, efficiency, quality standards, and compliance with regulatory requirements.

Education: Degree in Business/ Pharmaceutical Sciences/ Biochemistry or a related field.

Experience:

  • 2-5 years of experience in product compliance, product registration
  • Strong knowledge of UAE systems (MOIAT, MONTAJI, Abu Dhabi QCC, FIRS/ZAD, MOCCAE etc.)
  • Proficiency in implementing processes to comply with regulatory requirements
