Lifestyle Coaching/Development Consultancy companies can be established in both Mainland and within the Free Zone Authorities. The most suitable licensing option will depend on various factors, such as jurisdiction of operation and office requirements.
Since 2020, Lifestyle Coaching has become a regulated activity in the Emirate of Dubai and requires approval from DED. Therefore, a physical office minimum of 20 sqm is mandatory to obtain the license.
As “Lifestyle coaching” is a professional activity, the legal structure of the company will be a Sole Establishment or a Civil Company if your company is incorporated in the mainland, therefore the company liability will be unlimited. A mainland company will have no limitations on the operation.
However, if incorporated in a Free Zone, the legal structure will be LLC with operational limitations. Services can be provided within the Free Zone jurisdiction or internationally.

This license does not have any office requirements, but sponsorship of employees is not possible. An attested degree/ certificate/ proof of expertise in chosen business activity is required to obtain this license.
No matter which jurisdiction the business is set up in, Lifestyle Coaching activity in the UAE, does not permit the company to carry out the following activities related:

as these are regulated by other 3rd party authorities and require related approvals.
