What is a Dubai Customs Code?
Companies that wish to engage in import and export activities through Dubai must register with Dubai Customs – the relevant authority which regulates the procedure.
Registration services can be availed online through the Dubai Trade portal; approval is received electronically after a review of the application and collection of payment by the customs authority.
Upon approval, a special identification code known as the Dubai Customs code is issued by Dubai Customs to every client, allowing them access to Customs services, systems, and transactions. This code can be used for the purposes of importing/exporting and clearance of goods through the emirate.
