Products Certified by QCC receive the Abu Dhabi Trustmark or Registration Certificate. The Certificate and the Trustmark of the QCC are designed to communicate that a product or system conforms to various health, safety, performance, and environmental standards set by Abu Dhabi regulators. Childcare Products Regulation in Abu Dhabi
“Safety Certification Scheme for Childcare Products” is applicable to all childcare products that are being sold and/or distributed in the Emirates of Abu Dhabi.

How to Receive Trustmark from Abu Dhabi QCC for Childcare Products? Childcare Products
In order to receive the QCC Trustmark, products must be applied for certification must assessed according to QCC’s criteria. Applicants must register first on QCC Jawdah website before uploading all the application for certification.
In Addition, the applicant shall provide the following:
- Valid UAE Trade License
- Authorization Letter from the Manufacturer to deal with the product(s) seeking certification (if applying on the manufacturer’s behalf).
The applicant may pursue one of the two processes (A or B) according to his own preference outlined below:
Process A:
The applicant has his product certified by a conformity assessment body and the manufacturer is ISO 9001:2008 certified.
Process B:
No certification of his products, but the manufacturer is ISO 9001:2008 certified.
Technical file requirements:
The applicant shall submit the following documents& sample/s:
- A complete application form and a maximum of 25 products per application
- Company profile including a profile of the manufacturing facility.
Depending on the process chosen, the following also need to be submitted:
Process A:
- Certificate of conformity and all valid test reports from an accredited lab that is not older than 1 year.
- Samples of the product (when and if deemed necessary by QCC)
- For the car seat, a photo of the product shows clearly that every car seat has either of the following.
- An orange ECE R44 approval label
- An Orange I-size (UN r129) label
Australia| Australian standards AS 1754| New Zealand| New Zealand Standard NZS 1754 (also known as five ticks approval)
Process B
- Test report from an accredited lab not older than 1 year
- Samples of the product (when and if deemed necessary by QCC)
Note: if the manufacturer is not ISO 9001:2011 certified, a pre-audit shall be conducted by a QCC auditor to assess its system compliance. If the manufacturer is found ready, the factory audit shall be scheduled and conducted.
